HK uses a muscle testing technique as a way of communicating with the body’s natural BioEnergy system. This muscle testing is used to establish what further HK techniques are required to re-balance this BioEnergy, in order to help you achieve your desired goals, or to maintain good health.

Health Kinesiology (HK) is a natural complementary therapy that can improve your overall well-being and bring your body into harmony with itself.

HK re-balances the BioEnergetic system of the body using several different methods, depending on the body’s unique BioEnergy requirements.

What does a typical session involve?

The client will lie or sit fully clothed on a therapy couch. The session then involves using a muscle (usually of the arm) and monitoring it’s response when asking the body verbal questions. All questioning is done out loud. From this verbal questioning we are able to work out and prioritise what is required in order to re-balance the body’s BioEnergy. Balancing procedures usually involve lightly holding acupoints on the body, while carrying out BioEnergy corrections, or while using a variety of tools, including magnets, flower essences, crystals, homeopathic remedies and essential oils.
It is truly a very subtle, yet powerful system that focuses on our BioEnergy system (our Chi) as a whole.

How many sessions do I need?

This can vary and is very much dependant on the individual, and their concern or desired goal. Some clients can benefit from having just one session for a particular issue. Others may require more, especially if they have a few concerns that they would like to address. For non chronic concerns, anything up to 5 sessions is usually sufficient.

From the outset we can establish, through muscle testing, the approximate number of sessions that your body will require for you to see a significant improvement. We will also establish the number of weeks required between each session. This is usually between three to four weeks, and is the time that allows the body to process the work we do together before we continue.
